A Belfast based entrepreneur has seized a golden opportunity to follow her dream of launching her own handcrafted jewellery business thanks to the Go For It Programme, in association with Belfast City Council and North City Business Centre.
Financial incentives of £1,500 are on offer for budding Belfast entrepreneurs to help ‘kick start’ their business, thanks to a new, free programme launched this week by Belfast City Council.
Work West recently celebrated the end of a successful three year delivery of the Belfast City Council ‘Go Social’ programme with an event showcasing social enterprise and cooperatives in the city.
‘Thinc schools’ by Work West is a No tech, experiential programme underpinned by creative practise and theory which creates a safe space for critical self-reflection allowing for the development of transferrable life skills.
Orchard @ The Foundry, a new café which is opening at The Foundry on Lower Newtownards Road in east Belfast, will provide a range of training and development opportunities to 20 local marginalised young people, aged from 16 to 25.
