Lisburn Enterprise Organisation Celebrates 35 Years of Impact

2026 will see continued investment, programme expansion and strengthened business support from Lisburn Enterprise Organisation as it builds on 35 years of enterprise leadership.

In August 2025, Lisburn Enterprise Organisation proudly marked a major milestone, celebrating 35 years in business. Over more than three decades, the organisation has supported several thousand individuals to start and grow their businesses, playing a central role in shaping the local enterprise landscape.

Operating across 85,000 square feet of workspace, Lisburn Enterprise Organisation has achieved over 99% occupancy rate across its centre. The site includes 116 light industrial units, 37 offices and 45 virtual offices, with more than 500 staff employed by businesses based onsite, a powerful reflection of the centre’s economic contribution to the area.

Throughout 2025, the organisation continued to support new entrepreneurs in launching their ventures, sharing many of these success stories across its social media channels to inspire and encourage others considering self-employment. Towards the end of the year, Lisburn Enterprise Organisation also became a business backer for Young Enterprise NI, further strengthening its commitment to nurturing entrepreneurial ambition from an early stage.

Looking ahead, 2026 will see an extensive repairs schedule undertaken across the site, ensuring high-quality facilities for its thriving business community.

The organisation will also continue to provide business support to entrepreneurs and build on its MY Adviser initiative, a 12-month programme supporting businesses trading for less than 18 months through bespoke one-to-one mentoring and facilitated workshops tailored to early-stage growth challenges.

In addition, a new series of “Lunch and Learn” events is planned for licensees, creating further opportunities for shared learning, peer connection and practical business insight.

Martina Crawford, Chief Executive of Lisburn Enterprise Organisation, said: “Celebrating 35 years in business was a significant milestone for Lisburn Enterprise Organisation and an opportunity to reflect on the thousands of entrepreneurs we have supported over the decades. Achieving over 99% occupancy rate across our centre demonstrates both the strength of demand for quality enterprise space, the resilience of our local business community, and our capacity for future growth.

“As we look to 2026, our focus remains on continuous improvement, investing in our facilities, strengthening initiatives like MY Adviser, and creating new opportunities for connection and learning through our Lunch and Learn series. We are committed to ensuring that Lisburn Enterprise Organisation continues to be a place where businesses at every stage can access the support, space and expertise they need to grow and succeed.”
